Men’s T&F Wraps Up Time At NCAA East First Round

LEXINGTON, KY - The men's track and field team wrapped up its time at the NCAA East First Round on Friday.
Will Coogan had his career best finish at the NCAA East First Round as he took 17th in the men's 5,000m. Robert Mechura made his regional debut in the 5,000m.
Adam Smith closed out his one year with Carolina in the men's discus. Tomer Tarragano (10,000m) is the lone men's athlete to punch his ticket to the NCAA Championships.
Sydney Masciarelli will lead off the final day for the women at 5:40 p.m. EST as she competes for a spot at Hayward Field in the women's 3,000m Steeplechase.
Aaliyah Berry races in the 100m hurdles at 6:15 p.m. EST. Makayla Paige will compete at 7:05 p.m. EST in the 800m. Finally, Vera Sjoberg and Brynn Brown will both race in the women's 5,000m at 8:10 p.m. to close out the regionals.
