Women’s Soccer Hosts NJIT Sunday Afternoon

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 7 Carolina women's soccer continues its homestand with a match against New Jersey Institute of Technology Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels and Highlanders are slated for a 1 p.m. kickoff on ACCNX.
Carolina and NJIT will clash for the first time in program history this weekend. The Tar Heels welcome the Highlanders to Dorrance Field where they hold a 3-1 record so far this season.
Sunday's matchup will be one of the final two nonconference games for UNC this fall. In nonconference action, the Tar Heels are 5-1.

- Aven Alvarez, Hope Munson, and Sealey Strawn were named to the U-20 WNT roster for the upcoming 2026 U-20 FIFA Women's World Cup. The trio of Heels will compete with the national team Sept. 5-27 in Poland.
