Women's Lacrosse Hosts Stanford Friday For Big ACC Matchup

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 2 North Carolina women's lacrosse is hosting No. 12 Stanford for a big ACC matchup on Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m. on Dorrance field. The Heels currently sit at the top of the ACC standings with Stanford in second. The programs have only met three times prior with Carolina winning all three.
The Heels' game with the Cardinal will air on ESPNU. Jay Alter and Charlotte North will have the call.

- Now in her 31st season, HC Jenny Levy now has a career record of 454-131. The 454 wins rank second all-time and her four National Championships rank fourth all-time.
- UNC continues to play one of the toughest schedules in the country. They have eight of the current Top 25 teams on this year's schedule.
- Carolina is currently outscoring its opponents 235-86 (+149), which leads the nation. Last season, the Tar Heels led the nation in scoring margin at +233 (384-151).
- Carolina's defense held opponents to 6.9 goals per game in 2025, which ranked first in both the ACC and NCAA. This year, the Heels are holding opponents to 7.2 goals per game, which ranks third nationally and first in the ACC.
- The nation's best player, Chloe Humphrey, has followed up her record-breaking freshman season with another outrageous year. Her 64 goals and 92 points lead the nation and her 28 assists are tied for 23rd. She also leads the team with 18 caused turnovers this season. For her career, Humphrey's 154 goals are seventh all-time at UNC and her 210 points and 56 assists are 13th all-time in school history.
- Eliza Osburn has been stuffing the stat sheet in '26. After 12 games, Osburn has 23 goals (third on the team), 12 assists (fourth on the team), 14 groundballs, 10 caused turnovers and 24 draw controls (third on the team).
- Kate Levy and Addison Pattillo were added to the Tewaaraton Award watch list midway through the season and you can see why. Levy is sixth on the team in points (26) with 18 goals and eight assists. She's also added 18 groundballs (tied for second on the team), 16 caused turnovers (second on the team) and seven draw controls. Pattillo has seen her impact continue to grow and is up to 37 goals on the year to go along with seven assists, 13 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers.
- Levy earned National and ACC Defensive Player of the Week this week for her monster game versus Virginia. Not only did she score two goals, but she set a career high with six caused turnovers and matched her career high with five groundballs.
- Kaleigh Harden continues to be UNC's unsung hero in the midfield. She leads the team with 56 draw controls to go along with seven goals, an assist, 14 groundballs and nine caused turnovers.
- Sam Forrest and Brooklyn Walker-Welch are back playing together now that Walker-Welch has returned from injury. The dynamic defensive duo continues to make life hard on opposing offenses and leads a group allowing just 7.2 goals per game, while causing 11.1 turnovers per game.
