Women’s Tennis To Host Campbell In Season Opener

CHAPEL Hill, N.C. – No. 3 University of North Carolina women's tennis is set to begin the 2026 campaign on Sunday as they host Campbell at 1 p.m. The Tar Heels are set to host 15 matches at the Chewning Tennis Center this spring starting with the matchup against the Fighting Camels.
Carolina also faced Campbell early last season where they picked up a dominant 7-0 win en route to a 27-5 overall season and final four appearance.
UNC will look to continue their momentum from the fall season with the addition of two new Tar Heels. Reese Brantmeier wrapped up the fall season for Carolina as the NCAA Singles National Champion. The senior will look to lead the team to their third-straight ACC title and another trip to the final four along with added depth from the newest members of the team, Anna Frey and Maddy Zampardo.
