Streicher's 69 Ties Low Round, UNC Finishes 4th At Folds Of Honor

Tar Heel senior Megan Streicher's 3-under-par 69 led North Carolina to a fourth-place finish in the 2025 Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich.
Streicher was one of 11 players in the field to shoot under par in the final round, and her 69 was matched by only two other players for the low round of the day.
The Cape Town, South Africa, native shot 72-75-69 to finish fourth at even-par 216. It was her seventh career top-five finish as a Tar Heel.
No. 16-ranked Carolina shot 3-over 291 on Wednesday, its best round of the 54-hole tournament. UNC carded rounds of 294-297-291 for a 19-over 883 total.
Seventh-ranked Texas A&M won the team title at 7-over 871, three strokes better than Baylor. Kentucky was third at 13 over, UNC fourth at 19 over and Michigan State fifth at 29 over. Florida State, Arizona and Kansas rounded out the top eight.
Kentucky's Anastasia Hekkonen (66-71-71) was the medalist at 7-under 209. She beat Texas A&M's Brynn Kort and Kentucky's Cathryn Brown by four.
UNC's Ing Iadpluem (75-74-70) tied for ninth at 3-over 219, her fourth top-10 showing in her last six collegiate starts.
Marie Prats-Rigual (77-72-76) tied for 21st at 9-over 225, Helen Yeung (73-76-77) tied for 26th at 10-over 226 and Inez Ng (75-78-76) tied for 35th at 13-over 229.
The Tar Heels return to competition September 19-21 at the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt in Franklin, Tenn.
