North Carolina's Ing Iadpluem carded a 1-under-par 71 for the third consecutive round and the Tar Heels finished 15^th on Monday in the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Championship on the North Course at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

UNC shot 16-over 304 in the fourth and final round of stroke play and did not advance to Tuesday's match play. Carolina shot 293-294-287-304 for a 72-hole total of 26-over 1178.

Iadpluem made four birdies for the fourth straight day. She tied for 30^th with rounds of 77-71-71-71 for 2-over 290. The junior from Thailand became the first Tar Heel women's golfer ever to shoot below par three times in an NCAA Championship.

The Tar Heels finished 15^th, their highest finish since 2017.

Stanford finished first in stroke play at 22 under par, 13 strokes ahead of Southern California. They were the only two teams in the field to finish below par over 72 holes.

Arkansas (+1), Texas (+1), Eastern Michigan (+2), Oklahoma State (+3), Duke (+7) and Pepperdine (+11) also advanced to match play. Iowa State and Arizona State were the highest-finishing teams not to advance.

Texas' Farah O'Keefe, the top-ranked player heading into the tournament, shot 69-69-68-70 to win individual national championship at 12-under-par 276.

Carolina's Megan Streicher (75-73-74-76) and Helen Yeung (73-76-72-77) finished 10-over 298. Marie Prats-Rigual (73-75-71-81) and Reagan Southerland (72-75-73-80) were 12-over 300.
