Streicher Earns 2nd All-ACC Award
May 2, 2025 | Women's Golf
North Carolina's Megan Streicher was voted to the 2025 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Golf Team, the second time in as many seasons Streicher has earned All-ACC honors.
Â
The junior from Cape Town, South Africa, was one of 15 players to make the team. She leads UNC in stroke average (71.70) and top-10 finishes (six).
Â
Streicher's career scoring average of 72.31 is the lowest in UNC women's golf history, and her stroke average this season is on pace to break the record she established as a sophomore (71.83).
Â
She is the 11th Tar Heel to earn multiple All-ACC awards, joining four-time honoree Catherine O'Donnell (four), three-time recipients Marcy Newton and Ashley Prange and two-time winners Kim Byham, Kelly McCall, Meaghan Francella, Katie Miller, Allie White, Casey Grice and Kayla Smith.
Â
Streicher leads the Tar Heels into next week's NCAA Norman (Okla.) Regional, where Carolina is the No. 3 seed.
