Yeung & Ridenour Pace Tar Heels At Ruth's Chris Invitational

North Carolina sophomore Helen Yeung and freshman Grace Ridenour both shot even-par 70s on Saturday in the second round of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley Golf Course.
Ridenour, competing as an individual entry, carded a 70 for the second straight day and is tied for ninth in the individual standings at even-par 140.
Yeung has shot 72-70 for 2-over 142 to tie for 10th place with 18 holes to play.
The Tar Heels are in sixth place at 15-over 575. Katie Vo shot 72 today, while Marie-Prats Rigual and Ellen Yu both finished with 74s.
Auburn was the only team to shoot below par in the second round as the Tigers shot 6-under 274 to take a seven-stroke lead over NC State. The Tigers are 5 under par through 36 holes. Virginia Tech (+4), Duke (+7), South Carolina (+8) and UNC round out the top six.
Auburn's Anna Davis (69-67) and Virginia Tech's Emily Matthews (70-66) are tied for the individual lead at 4-under 136. They share a one-stroke advantage over NC State's Marie Madsen.
The third and final round is Sunday, beginning at 7:50 a.m. Admission and parking are free.
