No. 1 Women's Lacrosse Heads East For In-State Contest With ECU Wednesday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 1 North Carolina women's lacrosse will head east for an in-state contest with East Carolina in Greenville on Wednesday night. First draw is set for 6 p.m. at Johnson Stadium.

- Ashley Humphrey is currently tied for sixth on UNC's all-time assists list (86) and fourth on the single-season list (48). Her four assists per game lead the country (48 in 12 games). She is the NCAA's active leader in assists (216) and assists per game (3.32) and ranks second in points per game (4.97).
- Caroline Godine was tabbed ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors after posting the ninth hat trick of her career and her first this season against Boston College. She now has nine goals and four assists on the year.
- Sophie Student earned ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week recognition after she set a career high with six groundballs against Boston College. Student now has 13 groundballs this season to go along with 19 draw controls.
