Penn Relays Headline Track’s Weekend Agenda

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina track and field will split up into three different locations this weekend: Charlotte, Louisville, and Philadelphia.
The distance and mid-distance runners will compete at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, April 24, and Saturday, April 26.
The 2025 Indoor National Champion, Ethan Strand, is scheduled to make his outdoor debut in the men's 5000m, the same event in which he set the ACC Championship record while bringing home the championship in February. Live Stats can be found here. The meet will be broadcast on FloTrack.
The throwers will compete at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park in Louisville, Ky., DC. Timing will provide the live stats.
The rest of the team will stay local and race at the Charlotte Invitational in the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
