Women's Tennis Welcomes No. 9 Duke Wednesday

The fourth-ranked University of North Carolina women's tennis team will play a top-10 opponent for the second time in four days when it welcomes No. 9 Duke to Chapel Hill on Wednesday.
Fresh off a thrilling, 4-3, win over 10th-ranked NC State at home on Sunday, the Tar Heels and Blue Devils will renew their on-court rivalry at 5 p.m. at the Chewning Tennis Center.
UNC, Duke and California are tied atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings entering this week at 6-0 in conference play. Carolina is 15-3 overall, and the Blue Devils are 14-2.
Following Wednesday's match, the Tar Heels will host SMU on Friday at 2 p.m. in Chapel Hill.
