The Lead: After upsetting the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels will face No. 15 Pepperdine in the first round of the ITA Indoor Team Championship.

Storylines:

Carolina has qualified for 23 consecutive ITA Indoor Team Championship tournaments.
North Carolina has won four of the last five ITA Indoor Team Championships.
Despite the co-host setup this year, UNC will play its first round matchup in Evanston.
- If the Tar Heels win, its path to the championship match will stay in Evanston.
- Eight schools are placed in Champaign with the teams that advance to the third round having to travel to Evanston.

Last week, multiple Tar Heels achieved ACC accolades.
- Reese Brantmeier was named ACC Player of the Week.
- Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton were named ACC Doubles Team of the Week.
This week, the ITA released its first rankings since the preseason.
- UNC had four singles players and four doubles players ranked.
  - Theadora Rabman is ranked No. 10.
  - Carson Tanguilig is ranked No. 20.
  - Reese Brantmeier is ranked No. 24.
  - Tatum Evans is ranked No. 31.
  - Carson Tanguilig & Susanna Maltby are ranked No. 5.
