Women’s Soccer To Host Syracuse

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 23 University of North Carolina women's soccer (10-6, 4-4 ACC) returns to Dorrance Field to take on Syracuse (5-8-4, 1-7-1 ACC) Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels and the Orange are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff on ACCNX.

UNC will look to bounce back on their home field after going 1-2 on their recent road swing. The Tar Heels have remained dominant at home this season boasting a 7-1 record with four shutout wins.

The Matchup

UNC is set to host Syracuse for just the fifth time in program history. Last time the teams clashed in Chapel Hill the Tar Heels topped the Orange 6-1.
Carolina and Syracuse last met in 2024 where the Tar Heels recorded a 1-0 shutout victory.
The Tar Heels are 10-0 all time against the Orange with five shutouts.
UNC has outscored Syracuse 33-5 across their previous matchups.
