New Look Tar Heels Face JMU & Campbell To Begin 2025 Season

The Lead: Faced with a new roster with the same high expectations, North Carolina's women's tennis team will take on a new look in 2025 after graduating 1,008 singles and doubles victories after the 2024 season. The No. 6 Tar Heels will face first-time foe James Madison and well-acquainted opponent Campbell in its first matchups of the season.

Brian Kalbas enters this season with 770 career victories.
- Kalbas owns the third-most victories all-time and is the nation's active leader.
Reese Brantmeier is set to return this season.
- She missed most of the 2024 season due to injury.
Carson Tanguilig is just five wins from reaching triple digits in singles and eight wins away from a 100-win career in doubles.
Carolina welcomes five newcomers to the 2025 roster.
