The Lead: After a 2-0 road trip last weekend to wrap up the ACC regular season, the No. 5 North Carolina women's tennis team enters the ACC Championship tournament as the conference's No. 1 seed. The Tar Heels face the winner of Duke and Wake Forest on Friday in its first matchup. If the Tar Heels win on Friday, they will advance to Saturday's semifinal. If Carolina wins on Saturday, it will play for the ACC title on Sunday.

Last week, UNC recorded its 11th ACC regular season title.
Carolina enters the week ranked 5th by the ITA.
Eight UNC singles players enter the weekend ranked by the ITA.
Six UNC doubles teams enter the weekend ranked by the ITA.
