A handful of Tar Heels capped the outdoor track & field regular season on Wednesday by competing at the Liberty Twilight meet at the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex in Lynchburg, Va.

UNC's Zech Blake picked up an event win in men's javelin with a personal-best distance of 198-1 (60.39m). Patrick Crocket gave the Tar Heels two in the top four in that event, placing fourth with a throw of 180-5 (54.99m).

Next up Carolina travels to Durham for the Atlantic Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Hosted by Duke, the event runs May 13-15.
