#2 Carolina Hosts UNCG, Appalachian State Tuesday

CHAPEL HILL - The second ranked North Carolina women's tennis team is back home for the first time in over three weeks to host a doubleheader against in-state foes UNCG at 2 p.m. and Appalachian State at 6:30 p.m.
The Tar Heels are off to a 9-1 start to their 2019 dual match season. Featured wins have come against top-10 ranked Vanderbilt, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Duke over the last couple weeks.
Carolina's lineup includes five ranked singles players: Makenna Jones (6), Alexa Graham (7), Sara Daavettila (15), Cameron Morra (20) and Alle Sanford (104). The doubles tandem of Jones and Morra check in sixth.
UNCG is 1-3 thus far with a victory over UNC Asheville.
Appalachian State is 3-1 overall and won its last three against UNCG, ETSU and Western Carolina.
Carolina opens ACC play this Friday at Boston College at 1 p.m. The Heels will also visit No. 13 Michigan on Sunday at noon in Ann Arbor.
