
Tar Heels Improve At Dick Taylor Relays

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Several Tar Heels recorded season-best results as the Carolina track and field team hosted the Dick Taylor Tar Heel Relays Saturday at UNC's Fetzer Track.
Recording best marks of the season for Carolina were sophomore Clayton Parros in the 400 (45.89), senior Donte Nall in the high jump (7-3 3/4), senior Austin Davis in the triple jump (51-11 3/4), and sophomore Reynaldo Radlin in the 400-meter hurdles (51.77).
The Tar Heels are preparing for the NCAA Regional Championships in Bloomington, Ill., May 26-28, at the University of Indiana. Athletes who qualify will compete at the Regional meet in hopes of qualifying for for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June at Drake University.
UNC will host the Kent Taylor Texas Roadhouse Carolina Relays next weekend, May 14 and 15, at Fetzer Track. That meet will be the final meet for athletes to qualify or improve their marks before Regionals in three weeks.
