Virginia Tech Head Coach Beth Dunkenberger:
"I thought we played a very solid first half. I was pleased with our performance there. In the second half, we started with a few turnovers and they ended up running on us in transition and built a lead and we really couldn't quite climb back in it."
North Carolina Head Coach Sylvia Hatchell:
"I thought we had great balance, which is what I like with this team. We keep talking about how we play for each other, and how it's about what we can give not what we can get.
On halftime adjustments:
"The first half it seemed like we were playing a little tired, not getting to loose balls. Second half, we played with more energy. We talked about it in the locker room, we wanted to come out in the second half with more intensity and more focus.
"We usually play in runs, the biggest things is that when we develop more consistency, we're actually pretty good out there. When we develop that consistency, we're gonna be able to move to another level."
