Tar Heels To Face LSU In Primetime On ESPN2 In SEC/ACC Challenge

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – One of North Carolina's most anticipated matchups of the season is set for primetime on Dec. 2, as the Tar Heels host LSU in the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge at 7:15 p.m. ET from Carmichael Arena on ESPN2.
The Tar Heels welcome LSU to Chapel Hill for the first meeting between the two storied programs in Carmichael Arena, where they'll square off for the fourth time overall. The two teams last met in 2016.
Carolina hosts a preseason exhibition on Oct. 18 at Carmichael Arena, taking on Davidson at 1 p.m. ET. Admission for all fans for the exhibition is free.
The Tar Heels enter year eight of the Courtney Banghart era after back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances and a best-of-14 ACC wins mark, the most since 2012-13.
