WBB To Travel To Maryland For Exhibition Contest

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – After meeting in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament, North Carolina women's basketball is slated to make the trip to College Park to square off against Maryland in an exhibition game at the Xfinity Center on Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. ET on B1G+.
The former Atlantic Coast Conference foes meet in a final preseason matchup before North Carolina heads over to Europe to square off against Oklahoma in the 2026 Oui Play on Nov. 2 in Paris.
Meeting 77 previous times in the regular season, North Carolina boasts a slight 40-37 advantage in the contentious series. The Tar Heels sent the Terrapins packing last March, defeating Maryland in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament, 74-66.
The Tar Heels host their lone home exhibition in Chapel Hill on Oct. 18, taking on Davidson from Carmichael Arena at 1 p.m. ET. Admission is free and open to all.
