2024-25 (Sophomore): Participated in 11 races across five regattas in her second season at Carolina • Competed with the V8 boat all season • Member of the V8 boat placing first at the Cardinal Invitational • Finished third with the V8 boat in the Grand Finals at the Sarasota 2K • Placed first at the Rocky Top Invite with the V8 crew • Took first in the Petite Final at the ACC Championship in the V8 • Member of the ACC All-Academic Team • Honored as a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete.
2023-24 (Freshman): Competed in nine races over four events during her first year in Chapel Hill • Made her collegiate debut with the V8 and V4 at the Rivanna Romp • Rowed with the V8 at the Cardinal Invitational • Helped the V8 to a seventh-place finish in the V8 Grand Final at the Sunshine State Invitational • Led the V8 to a first-place finish in the Petite Final at the ACC Championships • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Before UNC: Participated in club rowing with the Mile High Rowing Club • Also earned four letters in softball at Eaglecrest • Was a first-team all-conference pitcher • Served as President and Treasurer of the Natonal Honors Society • Was a team captain for the speech and debate team • Spent time as a lab assistant and vaccine assistant with National Jewish Health • Graduated as an advanced placement scholar with distinction.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff Troftgruben and Chris Forkner • Has two siblings, Jillian and Katie • Double majoring in exercise and sport science and psychology.
