October 22, 2025 | Women's Rowing
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina rowing readies for yet another season on the water as head coach Erin Neppel unveiled the program's 2026 schedule on Wednesday.
"We're looking forward to the racing opportunities we have coming up this spring! New this spring we've been invited up to Ohio State for the first time since I've been back at Carolina, and it will be exciting for us to test ourselves with some new fast teams we haven't seen yet," said Neppel. "ACCs are back at Lake Wheeler this year as well and we always look forward to racing there."
Carolina makes the short trip to Charlottesville for its lone regatta of the fall, visiting Charlottesville for the Rivanna Romp on Nov. 9.
The Tar Heels return to the water in the spring, opening with the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite in Tennessee from March 14-15.
Traveling South, Carolina visits Sarasota, for the Sunshine State Invitational to close out the month on March 27-28.
Carolina kicks off April with a trip to Big Ten country, for a regatta at Ohio State from April 3-4.
Returning to the Triangle, Carolina teams up with Duke to host the Lake Wheeler Invitational in Raleigh from April 24-25.
A few weeks later, UNC is back on Lake Wheeler for the ACC Championships from May 15-16.
Last season, Carolina finished sixth overall at the ACC Championships in Clemson, with the 2V4 earning a medal off a third-place victory.
Carolina brings back both of its All-ACC honorees, with Carmen Sagues earning a spot on the second team and Sydney Hebert on the third team as members of the V8 crew.
