Daughter of Roger and Denise (Lawson-Forbes) • Has two younger brothers, Luke and Matthew • First member of her family born in United States of America (parents were born in Jamaica) • Relatives include Jonathan Linton, who played running back for the Tar Heels from 1994-97 and later with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills from 1998-2000 and Karina LeBlanc, the former head of women’s soccer for CONCACAF and current GM of the NWSL’s Portland Thornes. LeBlanc represented Canada at five FIFA Women’s World Cups and won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
