Women’s Tennis Begins Fall Season

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina women's tennis will return to the courts for the first time this season on Friday. Several Tar Heels will begin their fall season at the Kitty Harrison Invitational here in Chapel Hill while others are set to compete in the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Wisconsin. Both tournaments will run Friday-Sunday with scoring and tournament updates available through wearecollegetennis.com.
Kitty Harrison Invitational
The Kitty Harrison Invitational will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday with doubles matches up first. Opening day will consist of two rounds of doubles matches and one round of singles matches at 11:45 a.m.
Doubles matches will be one set to 6 with a tiebreak at 6-6. Singles main draw will be a full third set, and singles consolation will have a 10-point tiebreak for the third set.
Milwaukee Tennis Classic
In Milwaukee, Alana Boyce, Anna Frey, Alanis Hamilton, and Mary Grace Rennard will represent the Tar Heels in the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. They will begin tournament action in singles play starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Kitty Harrison Invitational
