Women’s Tennis Set For ITA All-American Championships

CARY, N.C. – Carolina women's tennis will head down the road to Cary, N.C. to compete at the ITA All-American Championships Sept. 19-27. The Tar Heels will take the courts at Cary Tennis Park in hopes to secure their spot at the 2026 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships later this fall.
Tournament action will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday morning with pre-qualifying singles matches. Doubles are set to follow in the afternoon. Seven Tar Heels will start their All-American Championships run on Saturday.
ITA All-American Championships
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association will hold their 43rd annual All-American Championships this coming week. The tournament continues to highlight the nation's top tennis players while providing the athletes an opportunity to clinch a spot at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
Ten singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists). Meanwhile, five doubles teams (5) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the All-American Championships (four main draw semifinalists, consolation champion).
