CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The 2026 North Carolina football team kicks off the 100th season in Kenan Stadium this Saturday, September 12th. Opening kickoff between the Tar Heels and the ETSU Buccaneers is set for noon.

9:00 AM: Modelo Kick Off Club, Coca-Cola Fan Zone and tailgating open
9:30 AM: Old Well Walk begins
10:00 AM: Chapel Thrill Concert Series presented by The Rams Club: DJ Diesel
10:30 AM: Kenan Stadium gates open
10:30 AM: Marching Tar Heels perform in The Pit
11:30 AM: Last call for Coca-Cola Fan Zone and Chapel Thrill
12:02 PM: Kickoff
Pregame Flyover
Be in your seats early to see a flyover featuring F5N Tiger II aircraft flown by Marine Fighter Training Squadron 402. The flyover is scheduled to take place at the conclusion of the National Anthem at approximately 11:54 AM.
