Baseball Game Versus Winthrop Canceled Due To Weather

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina baseball's Wednesday night game against Winthrop has been canceled due to the impending weather conditions in Chapel Hill.Â
After long talks between both coaching staffs and administration, both programs have agreed to forgo tonight's contest with the weather forecast and player safety in mind. The game will not be rescheduled.Â
The scheduled Shoes4Hope promotion, benefiting the UNC Children's hospital, will be rescheduled to one of the games for this weekend's series against Pitt. More information on that and all of our upcoming promotions will be announced on our social media channels on Twitter and Instagram.Â
