2024-25 (Freshman): Participated in 11 races throughout five regattas • Member of the V8 boat in each race • Assisted UNC to reach a first place finish in the V8 at the Rocky Top Invite • Raced with the V8 crew at the ACC Championship, earning a first place finish in the Petite Finals.
Before UNC: Spent four years rowing with the Lake Las Vegas Rowing Club • Was a member of the ARION U23 team in 2024 • Placed sixth in the U19 W1x at nationals in 2023 • Named best varsity athlete in both 2022 and '23 • Took fourth in the U17 W1x at nationals in 2022 • Earned the AP Academic Scholar Award and was a member of the AP Academy • Completed her Capstone degree.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Heather Gusick • Has one sibling, Cate • Majoring in psychology.
