Men's Tennis Opens ACC Play This Weekend At Home

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will open Atlantic Coast Conference action this weekend when it hosts Stanford and California in Chapel Hill.Â
The Tar Heels will host the 12th-ranked Cardinal beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, then will welcome the No. 48 Golden Bears at noon on Sunday. Both matches will be held at the Chewning Tennis Center, and admission is free.

Carolina is 7-3 this season, including 6-1 at home. The Tar Heels have won four of their last five matches.
UNC has three singles players in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, including No. 87 Ian Mayew, No. 113 Niels Ratiu and No. 115 Roan Jones.
