Ratiu & Xu Fall In ITA All-American Championship

TULSA, OKLA.—North Carolina's Niels Ratiu and Chris Xu dropped their match in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships on Tuesday, ending their run in the event.
Arizona's Sasha Rozin and Glib Sekachov, ranked No. 48 nationally in the preseason ITA doubles rankings, topped No. 32 Ratiu and Xu, 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (7) in the round of 16 of the the qualifying draw at the at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tar Heel players will have another opportunity to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship when they compete at the ITA Carolina Regional October 8-12 in Columbia, S.C.
