Women’s Soccer Prepares For James Madison On The Road

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's soccer (5-2, 0-0 ACC) is in search of their first road win this season as they head to James Madison (4-1-2, 0-0 Sun Belt) on Sunday. The Tar Heels and Dukes are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.

UNC heads to Virginia after a four-game homestand where they recorded three shutouts. Carolina remains unbeaten at home this season.

The Matchup

The Tar Heels and Dukes are set to clash for the first time in 15 seasons, and Sunday's game marks the first meeting between the programs in Harrisonburg, Va.
UNC owns a 2-0 record against JMU.
Both previous matchups occurred in the second round of the NCAA Tournament (1996, 2010).
Carolina has only allowed one goal from JMU in their previous two meetings.
The largest margin of victory for the Tar Heels over the Dukes is five points.
