Women’s Soccer Welcomes UNCG To Dorrance Field Thursday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's soccer (2-2, 0-0 ACC) welcomes UNC Greensboro (0-3, 0-0 SoCon) for a Thursday evening matchup at Dorrance Field. The Tar Heels and Spartans will kick off at 4:00 p.m. ET on ACCNX.

Carolina is coming off a shutout win against Rice at home, 4-0. UNC has now recorded two shutouts this season, both occurring at Dorrance Field.

The Matchup

Carolina and UNCG are set to meet for the 13^th time in program history, and the first in 14 seasons.
The Tar Heels own a 12-0 all-time record against the Spartans.
Carolina has shutout UNCG 10 out of their previous 12 meetings.
UNC has never allowed more than one goal from UNCG in a match.
Three of their previous matchups have come in the NCAA Tournament (11/18/07 – Second Round, 11/16/03 - Second Round, 11/16/01 - First Round).
