CHARLOTTE, N.C. – 13 North Carolina baseball players have been named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday.

The Tar Heels receiving the academic honors from the ACC include Carter French, Gavin Gallaher, Perry Hargett, Aidan Haugh, Reece Holbrook, Olin Johnson, Jake Knapp, Ryan Lynch, Alex Madera, Matthew Matthijs, Cameron Padgett, Camron Seagraves, and Hunter Stokely.
Â
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's educational career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests and 20 percent of their team's contests as a pitcher.Â

It is the third straight season receiving the award for Matthijs and the second for the Gallaher. As a team, it is more than double the six honorees the Heels had last year.
