June 4, 2025 | Women's Golf
Golfweek has named Megan Streicher, a junior from South Africa, an honorable mention All-America, Carolina's first women's golfer to earn All-America honors in five seasons.
Â
Streicher is Carolina's all-time single-round, single-season and career scoring average leader. She averaged 72.10 strokes per round this season, the second-best in UNC history behind the record 71.83 she averaged as a sophomore.
Â
An All-ACC performer for the second consecutive season, Streicher is Carolina's first to earn All-America honors since Jennifer Zhou in the pandemic-shortened season in 2020. Streicher is the first in a full season since Casey Grice in 2013.
Â
Streicher led Carolina this season in scoring, rounds under par (13), rounds in the 60s (7) and combined score to par (+12 in 30 rounds). She finished in the top 10 in six of Carolina's 10 tournaments.
