Track & Field Ventures To Duke For Weekend Meet

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Track and field will stay close to campus for the third time in the outdoor season to compete at the Duke Invitational at Morris Williams Stadium in Durham, N.C..

Freshman Evie Culbreath will lead off the meet on Thursday, April 10, as she competes in the heptathlon at 10:00 a.m. EST.

Last weekend, the throwers rewrote the record book at the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point, N.C., as Kate Joyce (55.40m) moved into second all-time in the women's javelin. Tommy Kitchell (19.09m) moved into third all-time for men's shot put. Kosi Umerah (60.41m) moved into seventh all-time for women's hammer, and Skylar Bohlman (52.03m) moved into tenth all-time for women's discus.
