CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Top-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse cruised past Cal on Sunday, 21-7. The Heels jumped out to a 10-3 lead after the first quarter on Senior Day and pushed their advantage to 17-4 at halftime. The win secured the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament for UNC.
The Tar Heels improved their nation-leading win streak to 14 games (14-0, 8-0 ACC), while the Bears fell to 6-9 (0-8 ACC).
