Women’s Swimming & Diving Makes Final Push at NCAA Championships on Saturday

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The University of North Carolina's swimming and diving program will send 14 athletes to the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships March 19-22 in Federal Way, Wash. The group comprises 11 swimmers and three divers looking to improve on their 17th-place finish from 2024.
Out of the 14 Tar Heels competing, eight of them are making their NCAA Championship debut as first-time qualifiers. Veterans Skyler Smith, Georgia Nel, and Elizabeth Sowards return for their third championship meet, while Greer Pattison and Aranza Vázquez Montaño round out their collegiate careers as four and five-time NCAA qualifiers, respectively.
