T&F At Virginia Tech And BU This Weekend

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina track and field competes at Boston University and Virginia Tech this weekend to close the regular season. A few track athletes will head up to Boston to compete in the distance medley relay and the 800m on Friday, while the rest of the team will be at Virginia Tech competing in the Virginia Tech Challenge.
Graduate student Tommy Kitchell was named the ACC Field Performer of the Week as the shot putter's mark of 20.47m at the Tiger Paw Invitational leads the ACC and ranks second nationally.
