
Track Posts Six New All-Time Marks In Boston

BOSTON/CLEMSON, S.C. -Â North Carolina track and field continues to thrive in Boston, delivering six more all-time marks.Â
Colton Sands ( 7:39.60) became the third Tar Heel this season to notch a top-ten mark in the 3000m. He is now the sixth-fastest runner in the country and third-fastest in program history.
Makayla Paige ran the second fastest 400m time in program history to win the Eagle Elite 400m race.
Taryn Parks (2:03.4) shot up the Carolina history books in the 800m as she ran the second fastest time in history.

Both 4x400m relay teams posted top-ten times. The women (3:36.99) finished tied for fourth all-time, and the men (3:08.91) finished ninth, winning both races.

Patrick Anderson (13:37.15) closed the night with the fifth-fastest 5000m time in program history.

Up Next: Track and Field will close out their time in Massachusetts and South Carolina on Saturday.
