Volleyball Falls To No. 14 Miami, 3-0

MIAMI - Carolina volleyball fell to No. 14 Miami (25-11, 25-23, 25-21) on the road in three sets on Sunday afternoon.
Carolina dropped the first set to the Hurricanes 25-11. But the team responded with a 5-0 run early in the second set to take back the lead 10-8, as the run included two service aces from the freshman Sienna Cozza. Miami ultimately took the lead back, but the Tar Heels kept the score close, 25-23. The Tar Heels lost the third set 25-21.
The team heads to Charlottesville, Va, for the final road match of the year as they take on the University of Virginia on Nov. 26 at 3:00 p.m. EST. Carolina will close out the regular season against Miami in Carmichael on Nov 29. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
