Women’s Tennis Set For NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of North Carolina women's tennis is set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Four Tar Heels will play in the singles championship with two doubles pairs representing Carolina in the doubles championship.
Reese Brantmeier and Tatum Evans head into the singles championship as 9-16 seeds, the only Tar Heels to be seeded in the singles bracket. Oby Kajuru and Theadora Rabman will also compete in the singles championship. The four Tar Heels will open the singles championship on Nov. 18 in the round of 64. Brantmeier and Rabman will get the day started at 9 a.m. with Evans and Kajuru to follow.
The doubles championship will begin on Nov. 19 in the round of 32. Duo Oby Kajuru/Susanna Maltby received the third seed heading into the doubles championship. Reese Brantmeier/Alanis Hamilton will also be competing.
Carolina is one of just two ACC programs with four singles and two doubles qualifiers this week. The Tar Heels will look to secure their first singles or doubles NCAA Championship Title since 2023 (Fiona Crawley – singles, Fiona Crawley/Carson Tanguilig – doubles).
