- Carolina entered the postseason ranked 4th by the ITA.
- UNC is looking for its fourth consecutive season in which it is at least 15-0 at home. (11-0 in 2020 before the COVID-19 shutdown). The Tar Heels were 17-0 in 2019.
- The last time the Tar Heels and Aggies met in the postseason was 2014 when UNC won 4-0.
- Fiona Crawley and Mary Stoina of Texas A&M were teammates on the US squad that won gold at the Master'U BNP Paribus international tournament last December.
- Entering the Super Regional, the Tar Heels boast a 165-58 record in singles play.
- In dual match action this season, Carolina is 54-6 in doubles play.
