The Lead: After securing wins over Navy and Wisconsin in the NCAA regional round last weekend, the No. 4 North Carolina women's tennis team will host the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies with a spot in the NCAA Quarterfinals on the line.

Storylines:

Last week, Brian Kalbas recorded his 770th career victory.
Carolina entered the postseason ranked 4th by the ITA.
UNC is looking for its fourth consecutive season in which it is at least 15-0 at home. (11-0 in 2020 before the COVID-19 shutdown). The Tar Heels were 17-0 in 2019.

From The Notes:

The last time the Tar Heels and Aggies met in the postseason was 2014 when UNC won 4-0.
Fiona Crawley and Mary Stoina of Texas A&M were teammates on the US squad that won gold at the Master'U BNP Paribus international tournament last December.
Entering the Super Regional, the Tar Heels boast a 165-58 record in singles play.
In dual match action this season, Carolina is 54-6 in doubles play.
