The Lead: After securing another No. 1 seed in the NCAA Championship, the No. 4 North Carolina women's tennis team will shift its focus towards Navy. Carolina will face Navy on Friday evening with a spot in Saturday's regional final on the line. If the Tar Heels advance to Saturday, it will play the winner of Wisconsin and William & Mary for a spot in the Super Regionals.

- UNC has never faced Navy in the postseason.
- Prior to UNC, Brian Kalbas led the William & Mary program. Over the course of 11 seasons, Kalbas compiled a 214-85 record.
- Entering postseason play, the Tar Heels boast a 159-58 record in singles play.
- In regular season doubles action, Carolina finished with an 82-17 record.Â
