Carolina Falls To Virginia In Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. -- After a hard-fought late night match versus NC State yesterday, North Carolina was tasked to face No. 11 Virginia in Sunday's early morning consolation match. In its match with the Cavaliers, the North Carolina women's tennis team (7-2), fell to No. 11 Virginia (8-2) 0-4 in Seattle.
The Tar Heels dropped the doubles point for the first time this season and fell in straight sets on courts four, five and six in singles play.

The Tar Heels will shift its focus to Atlantic Coast Conference play. In its first weekend of action, North Carolina is set to face Florida State and Miami on the road February 23rd and 25th.
