Track & Field In Action At Duke This Weekend

The University of North Carolina men's and women's track and field teams will be in action close to home this weekend when they compete at the Duke Invitational on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Morris Williams Stadium on the Duke campus.

- The Duke Invitational field features athletes from 66 different schools and running organizations.
- Tar Heel athletes will compete in 33 events during the weekend.
- Thursday's slate includes exclusively field events, beginning with the women's hammer throw at 10 a.m.
- Friday's action will begin at 11 a.m. with in the women's javelin and the men's decathlon with the women's heptathlon (11:30 a.m.) starting up shortly thereafter.Â
