Members of the University of North Carolina men's and women's track and field teams will participate in a pair of meets in Florida and Virginia this weekend.

The Tar Heels will send one contingent to the Tom Jones Memorial, hosted by the University of Florida on Friday and Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. Competition will begin on Friday at 1 p.m. and on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Another group of Carolina athletes will be in action at the Virginia Grand Prix, hosted by the University of Virginia on Saturday in Charlottesville, Va. The meet will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Carolina is coming off a successful appearance at the Duke Invitational last weekend.
