MTEN Visits No. 2 Florida Friday In Super Regional

Fifteenth-seeded North Carolina will hope to extend its 2022 men's tennis season on Friday when it visits second-seeded Florida in the NCAA Super Regional in Gainesvlle, Fla., at 5 p.m.
The match will be streamed live on the TennisONE app.
The super regional round was established in 2019 with the purpose of sending the final eight teams remaining in the 64-team field to the host site of the NCAA Championships. The winner of Friday's match will head to Champaign, Illinois, with hopes of hoisting the trophy at the University of Illinois' Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in late May.
The Tar Heels are making their eighth consecutive appearance in the NCAA round of 16. Carolina won eight of 10 matches to close the regular season on a hot streak that has continued in the postseason. UNC is 12-3 in its last 15 matches.
REGIONALS ROUNDUP
Carolina hosted the first two rounds of NCAA play last weekend at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center, beating Navy and Pac-12 regular season champion Arizona to advance out of regionals for the eighth NCAA Tournament in a row.
Florida advanced out of regionals with wins over New Orleans and Miami.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets may be purchased in advance or on each day of the tournament. An all-session pass is $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, college students, and children under 12. Single day tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens, college students, and children under 12.
Gates will open for fans one hour prior to the start of the match. Please note that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and saving of seats is not permitted.
