No. 1 Women's Tennis Downs Clemson, 7-0

CLEMSON, S.C. - No. 1 North Carolina recorded its fourth successive 7-0 victory on Friday afternoon at Atlantic Coast Conference foe Clemson from the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.
North Carolina (14-0, 5-0 ACC) registered its sixth-straight victory over Clemson, who fell to 6-9 overall and 0-6 in the league.
Sara Daavettila and Cameron Morra secured the 1-0 lead with a 6-2 win on court one. Court three's Alle Sanford and Reilly Tran also picked up a 6-0 win.
No. 120 Fiona Crawley once again was first off in singles with a 6-3, 6-0, victory over Mackenzy Middlebrooks on court four. No. 79 Elizabeth Scotty won in straight sets on court three, and No. 4 Sara Daavettila made it 32 wins in a row with a 6-4, 6-3, court-one win over Eleni Louka.
Anika Yarlagadda remained unbeaten in singles with a win on court five. No. 6 Cameron Morra and Alle Sanford battled back after dropping their opening sets to earn wins on courts two and six, respectively.
Alexa Graham returned to the lineup in doubles after missing the last couple weeks with a lower-body injury. Though she didn't factor in the Tar Heels earn the doubles point, it was good to see the All-American back in action.
Carolina stays on the road to face No. 13 Georgia Tech on Sunday at noon in Atlanta.
