Tar Heels Kick Off ACC Homestand Sunday With FSU

CHAPEL HILL – The North Carolina men's tennis team kicks off a four-match, Atlantic Coast Conference homestand Sunday, hosting No. 26 Florida State at 1 p.m. at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 11 nationally and 12-4 overall, 4-2 in ACC play, with six conference matches remaining.
"I'm happy with our team," UNC coach Sam Paul said. "We're looking forward to this homestand, and we're working toward the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament."
After Sunday's match, No. 23 NC State comes to Chapel Hill on Wednesday, April 3 at 4 p.m. (Note new time: the match was originally scheduled for 3 p.m.)
UNC hosts Boston College on April 5 and No. 16 Notre Dame on April 7.
Admission to Cone-Kenfield is free for all regular-season matches.
